摘要
•We examined the delivery of vitamins to healthy humans using chewing gum.•Water- and fat-soluble vitamins were released into the saliva during chewing.•Plasma retinol, pyridoxine, ascorbic acid and α-tocopherol were increased.•We demonstrate the potential of chewing gum to deliver vitamins.
