Hospital-based intervention to reduce tPA administration time

•Ischemic strokes are a significant cause of morbidity, mortality, and disability worldwide.•tPA in appropriate candidates is the gold-standard treatment option for ischemic strokes.•Timeliness of tPA administration is correlated with improved health outcomes.•There is 26 min delay in tPA administration in the current protocol that could be avoided.•Administering tPA in the radiology suite could significantly improve health outcomes.
