High-yield and low-cost method to synthesize large-area porous g-C3N4 nanosheets with improved photocatalytic activity for gaseous nitric oxide and 2-propanol photodegradation

摘要
The high photocatalytic activity porous nanosheet of g-C3N4 has been successfully fabricated through glyoxal treated melamine as a precursor, this method is a high-yield and low-cost synthetic pathway to form large specific surface area porous graphitic carbon nitride nanosheets. Thus, our glyoxal-based method would open up new avenues for the development of low-cost, high-activity g-C3N4 photocatalysts that find potential application in pollutant removal.
