Self-assembly of Pt(II) based nanoscalar ionic hexagons and their anticancer potencies

摘要
Two new nanoscalar metallacycles were synthesized in high yields using pyrazine motif containing donor tectons (bearing pendent pyridine motifs) and a diplatina acceptor using coordination-driven self-assembly reactions. The cytotoxicity of the macrocycles was tested with three different carcinoma cell lines, and the results were compared with that of cisplatin.
