One-dimensional hollow metal-complex as catalytic electrode for dye-sensitized solar cells

Ni(salen) complex and Pt-Ni(salen) composites are emerging as the most powerful class of catalytic nanomaterials. Through controlled growth with respective to time, it has a high chemical stability in triiodide/iodide electrolyte with a reliable electrochemical activity and low-cost setup thereby providing substantial opportunities for the catalytic electrode in dye-sensitized solar cells.
