Theoretical investigation of electron-ion recombination processes of Li-like tungsten ions

•The detailed resonance energies, radiative and autonization widths, and strengths of Δn=0 DR process of highly charged W71+ ions are calculated by FAC codewith Breit and QED corrections.•Electron-ion recombination spectra associated with 2s−2p(Δn=0) are presented to guide the upcoming DR experiments at the cooler storage ring CSRe.•Plasma recombination rates are obtained for modeling the ITER fusion plasmas.
