摘要
•Morphology engineering on iron oxides is carried out via an electrochemical method.•Morphology transition from zero-dimension to one-dimension is realized.•Iron oxide electrode delivers a high capacity of 184 mAh g−1 at 2 A g−1 (∼6C rate).•The Ni/Fe full cell exhibits a good energy density of 82.3 Wh kg−1.
