摘要
•The Gurvan Sayhan accretionary complex (GSAC) is a suture zone in South Mongolia.•Detrital zircon ages constrain the formation of the GSAC at 336–318 Ma.•The provenances are the Hangay and South Gobi blocks and South Mongolia Arc Belts.•The final closure of the Paleo-Asian Ocean in South Mongolia took place at 318–293 Ma.
