Background and Aims: Patients with severe multivessel coronary disease are normally referred for surgical revascularisation (coronary artery bypass graft, CABG). The putative benefits of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) over medical therapy (MT) have not been established. This study aimed to compare outcomes between PCI and MT for surgically ineligible patients with multivessel coronary artery disease.
