Development of a new cementless binder for marine dredged soil stabilization: Strength behavior, hydraulic resistance capacity, microstructural analysis, and environmental impact

•A new cementless binder is developed for marine dredged soil (MDS) stabilization.•General properties of the stabilized MDS mixtures showed significant improvements.•The proposed MDS mixtures are classified as non-hazardous materials.•The newly developed binder can be used to replace cement in the MDS stabilization.
