摘要

•Pd/MgO(5)-h-BN and Pd/h-BN catalysts were prepared for CO oxidation reaction.•Some Mg2+ could be embedded into the B vacancies of h-BN in the Pd/MgO(5)-h-BN catalyst.•A large amount of adsorbed oxygen appeared near the B vacancies on the surface of Pd/MgO(5)-h-BN catalyst.
