摘要
Lithium Titanate is an anode material used in electrical storage devices. The article presents for the first time Li4Ti2O6 synthesized by hydrothermal method and processed in microwaves. The microwave processed Li4Ti2O6 (LT) is characterized for structure and microstructure by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR) and High Resolution Scanning Electron Microscope (HRSEM) confirming the single phase formation and uniform morphology with a particle size varying from 52 nm to 149 nm. The impedance analysis of LT confirms the relaxation is Debye type behavior at and above 360 degrees C while below this temperature, the relaxation is non-Debye behavior. The resistance decreased as temperature increases, suggesting Negative Temperature Coefficient of Resistance. The conductivity values are varying from 10(-3)-10(-5) S/cm.
