e12637Background: Neoadjuvant systemic therapy (NAST) has traditionally been used in patients (pts) with locally advanced breast cancer (LABC). An increasing number of pts with early-stage operable breast cancer (ESOBC) possessing high risk features (triple negative, HER2+) are now being offered the option of NAST. There is a paucity of real life data describing the contemporary use of NAST for ESOBC and LABC pts. Objectives: To describe the institutional practice patterns on the use of NAST and to determine if there has been a meaningful change in practice at a large Canadian Community Cancer Centre. Methods: A retrospective chart analysis of all pts diagnosed with breast cancer (BC) between May 1, 2010 and October 31, 2016 who went on to receive NAST. Descriptive statistics were used to summarize and present data.
