Synthesis, spectroscopic characterization, crystal structure, Hirshfeld surface analysis and antimicrobial activities of two triazole Schiff bases and their silver complexes

Two new hydroxyl Schiff bases and their sliver (I) complexes have been synthesized. Their crystal structures highlighted the differences induced by an additional hydroxyl between the first and the second ligand. The antimicrobial activity of the four compounds was investigated.
