Sex-Related Differences in Patients Undergoing Left Ventricular Assist Device Implantation as Destination Therapy: A Single Center Experience

Sex-specific outcomes in advance heart failure (HF) patients supported by LVADs are conflicting in the literature. The present study aimed to assess a single centers experience with LVADs as destination therapy and determine the impact of sex on in-hospital outcomes and survival.
