摘要

•Non-centrosymmetric crystal (GFB) was grown by slow evaporation technique.•SHG efficiency of GFB is 1.47 times greater than that of KDP.•Piezoelectric coefficient (d33) was found as 3 pC/N.•UV–vis-NIR spectrum shows lower cut-off wavelength of 222 nm.
