摘要
Bioactive glass is well known for its ability of bone regeneration. In this work, it was prepared by polymer route technique at low temperature. Two types of polymers; polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) were used. The prepared samples were compared with synthetic bioglass prepared by melting (BM) at high temperature with specific regime. The physicochemical properties of the prepared powder samples were characterized using several physic-chemical methods such as XRD, FTIR, DTA., SEM and Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) and Zeta potential. The bioactivity after immersion times was investigated. Ions concentrations of Ca, P and Si ions were investigated by ICP. Results confirm that the bioactive glass 46S6 could be prepared at low temperature in the presence of polymer. The active oxides of the glass are coordinated in the structure of polymer. The results of DLS confirmed that particle size of the bioglass ranged between 200-500 nm.
