The metamorphic evolution of Salma-type eclogite in Russia: constraints from zircon/titanite dating and phase equilibria modeling

•High-pressure granulite facies metamorphism occurred at ca 1.91–1.92 Ga in the Belomorian Eclogite Province with the P-T conditions of 11–12 kbar/870–900 °C.•Amphibolite facies metamorphism has been recorded by titanite at ca 1.86 Ga with the P-T conditions of 8–10 kbar/650–710 °C.•The clockwise P-T path includes the thermal relaxation and nearly isobaric cooling.
