OptimEx2: Enhancing an experimentation system targeted at optimization algorithms

OptimEx is an experimental system aimed at checking whether user-defined optimization algorithms yield optimal outcomes. Given its novelty, there are no similar systems to compare with. Therefore, it is necessary to test OptimEx usability in order to enhance its design. A previous evaluation identified high usability but it also allowed identifying a number of elements to improve. In this paper, we present an enhanced version of OptimEx as well as the results of a second usability evaluation. The result is very high OptimEx usability.
