Fuel cycle analysis of molten salt reactors based on coupled neutronics and thermal-hydraulics calculations

•A fuel cycle analysis code FAMOS was developed for MSRs based on coupled neutronics and TH calculations.•FAMOS was verified with the Molten Salt Fast Reactor benchmark problem.•FAMOS was applied to the fuel cycle analysis of the Molten Salt Breeder Reactor.•It was shown that FAMOS is capable of simulating the fuel cycle process of MSRs.
