摘要

•Four kinds of ZnO nanostructrues were fabricated by chemical vapor deposition.•Different ZnO nanostructures were achieved by controlling the growth process.•The nanotower-like ZnO exhibited the best field emission performance.•The dependence of field emission performance on ZnO morphologies was discussed.
