Synthesis and Properties of Semi-crystalline Poly(decamethylene terephthalamide) Thermosets from Reactive Side-group Copolyamides

•A reactive side-group polyamide (PA 10T) has been synthesized and characterized.•Crosslinking results in a semi-crystalline PA 10T thermoset.•The maximum end-use temperature can be increased by as much as 100 °C.•Crosslinking can be used as a tool to improve the toughness of the PA 10T films.
