Understanding the pathways of improved chlorohydrination of allyl chloride with HCl and H2O2 catalyzed by titanium-incorporated zeolites

摘要
•HTS zeolite shows high catalytic performance for Allyl chloride chlorohydrination with HCl and H2O2.•Almost 100% allyl chloride conversion and over 98% dichloropropanol selectivity have been simultaneously achieved.•HTS zeolite displays pretty high stability in strong acidic reaction system.•The major mechanism lies in combining of epoxidation and ring opening, rather than Cl2-based route.
