Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) process is the most widespread Additive Manufacturing (AM) technique for processing metallic materials. In this study, an overview on the relationship among materials, main parameters and design constraints is given, based on the experience of processing aluminum, titanium and nickel based alloys for applications in different fields.
