摘要
BACKGROUND CONTEXT: A previous study (Been et al, 2010) reported that the lumbar lordosis is supplied by both the lumbar intervertebral discs (lumbar disc lordosis) and lumbar vertebral bodies (lumbar bony lordosis). These authors also reported an inverse correlation (r^2=0.23, r=-0.48) between bony and disc lordosis. It is also known that the pelvic incidence (PI) is positively correlated with lumbar lordosis in the standing posture; the larger the PI, the larger the lumbar lordosis needed to maintain a balanced upright posture.
