摘要
•Effect of adding nanoparticles on entropy generation in PVT systems is investigated.•A 2D numerical model with experimental measurements for four nanofluids are used.•Thermo-physical properties of the nanofluids are considered temperature dependent.•Effect of nanofluids properties is studied from energy and exergy viewpoints.•Frictional and thermal entropy generations were lowest for ZnO and Al2O3/water, respectively.
