Ultra-high electrical conductivity and superior bendability simultaneously enabled in Ag nanowire based nanocomposites

Herein we report the solution fabrication of highly conductive and bendable conductors based on Ag nanowires (NWs) embedded within a polyvinylidene fluoride matrix. A typical percolation behavior of electrical conductivity is observed due to the formation of a conductive network. The highest conductivity, 1.77 x 104 S cm(-1), is achieved at 80 wt% Ag NWs and it remains nearly unchanged after 1000 bending events.
