Development of a new low cost transverse flux-flux switching permanent magnet machine with soft magnetic composite cores and ferrite magnets

摘要
Soft magnetic composite (SMC) material is a new soft magnetic material, now it is popular in the designing of permanent magnet machine where high operation frequency and 3-D flux path required, due to its advantages of low eddy current loss and magnetic isotropy.expensive. In this paper, based on the ferrite magnet and SMC cores, a new transverse flux flux switching permanent magnet machine (TFFSPMM) is proposed for the low cost application. The performance of the TFFSPMM is good as the usage of high flux concentrating ability of the new machine topology and the global winding.
