Spatio-temporal variability in fecundity and atresia of Atlantic wolffish (Anarhichas lupus L.) population in Icelandic waters

•Female A. lupus were sampled to observe atresia and spatio-temporal difference in fecundity.•Fecundity decreased during June to October about 20%.•No difference between locations was found, but temporal difference was detected.
