摘要
•Doping of graphene was accomplished by thermal approach in the presence of urea.•N-doped graphene/PEDOT films were used as efficient counter electrodes in DSSCs.•No chemical interaction between heteroatoms was observed between N-doped graphene and PEDOT.•Photovoltaic activity was attributed to charge transfer interactions, due to both diffusion and CC bonding between components.
