Integration of Reassembly Operations in Disassembly Processes Planning

The planning of the end-of-life phase of products is becoming more and more important for manufacturers because of environmental regulations and economic reasons. Intelligent valorisation of end-of-life products became necessary. Consequently, we have developed a systematic disassembly planning model based on linear programming formalism. It is based on Petri nets for easy modelling and graphical representation. Both operative and end-of-life considerations are taken into account. This model can easily integrate all reassembly operations that cannot be considered in classical disassembly planning research. It is presented in this paper with case study of automotive product at end-of-life phase.
