摘要

•EA-2801 from Trichoderma sp. showed antimicrobial activity against Gram – bacteria.•The first total synthesis of EA-2801 was achieved in 5 steps and 71% overall yield from 4-hydroxycyclopent-2-en-1-one.•Enantiomers of EA-2801 were separated using chiral supercritical fluid chromatography.
