Synthesis of Enediamino Amino Acid Analogues and Peptides

Enediamino peptides and their constituent element enediamino amino acids are rich resources for the development of both biologically potent compounds and valuable synthetic intermediates. However, despite tireless efforts, the synthesis of the unique enediamino functionality is still elusive, particularly in the case of enediamino peptides. This review provides a comprehensive account of the reported methods for the syntheses of enediamino amino acid analogues and peptides.
