Bond-slip responses of stainless reinforcing bars in grouted ducts

•Monotonic pull-out tests were performed for A706 and Talley S24100 reinforcing steel bars.•The influence of duct/bar diameter ratio and embedment length on bond-slip behavior was investigated.•The one-dimensional phenomenological nonlinear bond spring models were regressed.•Preliminary development lengths were proposed for A706 and Talley S24100 reinforcing steel bars.
