摘要
Data for eight neuropsychological tests were collected from 130 persons, aged 64 to 83 years, drawn randomly from the Danish National Register. The results oi each of these eight neuropsychological tests served as dependent variables in multiple regression analysis, where the independent variables were age, sex, social class, martial status, a "general knowledge" measure, a depression score, and the result of a Danish adaption of the National Adult Reading Test (DART). Age was a significant predictor of results in all tests except the Trail Making Test. DART significantly improved the prediction of results for all eight tests. In conclusion, it is important to take age and premorbid intellectual level into account when evaluating neuropsychological test results.
