摘要

•Bi2O3/black-BiOCl heterojunction sample was successfully synthesized by a simple heat treatment.•The photocatalytic efficiency of Bi2O3/black-BiOCl heterojunction sample was superior to that of P-25.•The highest photocatalytic efficiency was found for the Bi2O3/black-BiOCl sample when its Bi2O3/BiOCl ratio was 15/85.
