Manganese oxide films are electrodeposited on nickel foams from acetate solutions at 70. using cyclic voltammetric (CV) and potentiostatic techniques (PS) in sequence. The effect of post heating temperature (PHT) in the range of 100-300. on the morphologies and capacitive behaviors of the oxide electrodes are investigated. Raman spectra (RS) suggest that the structure of manganese oxides change with PHT, and can be expressed as MnOx with x. 2. All the oxide electrodes display both types. and. adsorption isotherms and hypotheses loops. The dependence of the specific capacitance on PHT descends in order of 300. > 200. > 100. by using CV and galvanostatic charge-discharge (GCD) measurements as the scanning rate and current density exceed 10 mVs-1 and 5.0 mAcm(-2), respectively.
