摘要
Conventional endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) and underwater endoscopic mucosal resection (UEMR) are safe and effective techniques for removing elevated or sessile colorectal polyps. UEMR may have particular utility in the resection of flat or fibrotic lesions that are difficult to lift or grasp with a snare. Comparative data for EMR or UEMR for large colorectal lesions exists, but the efficacy of these techniques for the resection of smaller colorectal lesions has not been well studied.
