Allergen analysis of 2778 patients with allergic diseases in China

Objective: Study the distribution of allergen sIgE for allergic diseases in Guangdong and Yunnan, in order to provide the reference for clinical prevention and treatment. Methods: Western blot was performed to detect the levels of 9 serum allergen specific IgE of 2778 patients with allergic diseases in Guangdong and Yunnan, and statistical analysis was carried out for the allergen test results. Results: The allergen positive rate of Guangdong and Yunnan were accounting for 58.4% and 61.0%, respectively. Both of the first allergen was house dust mites. The prevalence rate of oak/elm/willow /poplar/ chinese parasol in Yunnan were obviously higher than those in Guangdong (P 14 years)while the positive rate of cockroach,shrimp and crab were much less than those of adult group in Guangdong(Pu003c0.001). Subjects sensitized to house dute mite were frequently co-sensitized to cockroach,shrimp and crab, their prevalence rate were 40.1%,37.6% and 35.3% respectively and grade 1-2 reactions appeared predominant. Conclusion: There exist different allergens distribution in various area and age, the statistic data of common allergen types has significant value to treatment and prevention for patients.
