摘要
On page 6752, J. Lu and co-workers present a sensor that is selective for volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Based on an inorganic/organic composite ultrathin film, the sensor applies 2D cascade Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) as readout. PVK@Ir(F2ppy)3@ 4-(dicyanomethylene)-2-methyl-6-(4-dimethylaminostyryl)-4H-pyran (DCM) and layered double hydroxide (LDH)nanosheets are assembled by the layer-by-layer method. These films show sensitive and selective fluorescence signal patterns for four VOC vapors by modulating the respective FRET process.
