摘要
•Endwall thermal flows around a fully permeable short cylinder were investigated.•The flow through the cylinder delays boundary layer separation and elongates wakes.•Pressure drop through the cylinder determines the extent of the through-flow.•Lower heat transfer occurs in elongated wakes with more through-flow.•Overall negative effect of the through-flow on endwall heat transfer was observed.
