A single molecular multianalyte fluorescent probe and its application to imaging intracellular multianalyte dynamics

Single molecular multianalyte fluorescent probes are powerful reagents for intracellular multianalyte imaging. The use of such probes ensures minimal invasion of the cell, and quantitative analysis is performed using radiometric calculations. Calcium ions, often in association with magnesium ions, are well known to be signal transmitters, and the use of a novel single molecular multianalyte sensor to simultaneously image both cations is described.
