Facile synthesis of Cu3Mo2O9@Ni foam nano-structures for high-performance supercapacitors

In this work, we demonstrate the large-scale preparation of Cu3Mo2O9 nanosheets on Ni foam with a non-surfactant hydrothermal method, followed by calcination. Subsequent performance tests uncovered that these Cu3Mo2O9 nanosheets on Ni foam exhibit an ultrahigh specific capacitance of 821 F g(-1) at a current density of 1 A g(-1) and had 88.3% capacitance retention after 1000 cycling tests at a current density of 5 A g(-1). Such successful findings provided a simple and effective approach to Cu-Mo binary materials for supercapacitors.
