摘要
Artemisia Linnaeus (1753: 845) is the largest genus of tribe Anthemideae and one of the largest in the sunflower family with 350–500 species (Shultz 2006, Ling et al. 2011). It is widely distributed in temperate areas of the northern hemisphere and has only a few representatives in the southern hemisphere (Shultz 2006). Some species of Artemisia are important medicinal plants such as A. annua Linnaeus (1753: 847), whose component artemisinin is successfully used against malaria (Van der Meersch 2005). Artemisia anomala S.Moore (1875: 227) is another important species used in traditional Chinese medicine (Tan et al. 2010).
