Double layer hemispherical tripole slot loaded aperture type Frequency selective surface

This paper presents hemispherical double layered frequency selective surface which acts like band pass filter in the range of 8 GHz to 10 GHz frequency. Tripole type element is used to achieve flat response with sharp roll off. Double layer hemispherical frequency selective surface is investigated to obtain more sharpness in roll off. The characteristics for double layer hemispherical FSS have been studied for different incident angles. The response is almost same for 0 to 30 degree incident angle.
