Early Paleozoic intracontinental orogeny and post-orogenic extension in the South China Block: Insights from volcanic rocks
Journal of Asian Earth Sciences(2017)
摘要
•The early Paleozoic volcanic rocks in South China formed at 445–435Ma.•The dacites and rhyolites formed by partial melting of Paleoproterozoic component.•The basalts were derived from a metasomatized subcontinental lithospheric mantle.•“Subduction signature” of basalts is inherited from a previous subduction event.•Convergence of the SCB and Australia might drive the intracontinental orogeny.
