摘要
HIV-infected individuals have a high risk of developing non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). NHL is the second most common malignant disorder associated-with HIV infection, the first being Kaposi's sarcoma. In the late 1990s, however, NHL became more common than Kaposi's sarcoma in some areas. Historically, AIDS-definding lymphomas have included systemic B-cell NHL (ie, immunoblastic and Burkitt's lymphoma) and primary brain lymphoma. We report a case of small bowel NHL in AIDS patient. A 58-year-old man presented with chronic fatigue and progressive abdominal pain. Gastroduodenal endoscopy shows multiple polypoid lesion on duodenum and diagnosed as Burkitt's lymphoma by histologic finding, immunohistochemical study associated with HIV positive. This is the first report of small bowel NHL from AIDS patients in Korea.
