Laboratory photometry of regolith analogues: Effect of porosity-II

•The reflectivity of asteroid surface analogs was studied in the laboratory.•The samples have industrial origin, natural origin and their combination.•The reflectivity decreases with the bulk porosity and the size of the constituent particles.•The bulk porosity was again found to be related to the particle size of the samples.•Scopes and need for future work were discussed.
