Impact of preoperative massage nursing on perioperative stress response in patients with lung cancer resection

Objective To discuss the preoperative massage nursing intervention on perioperative stress response in patients with lung cancer resection,to improve the effects of the prognosis of patients with lung cancer surgery and to improve the quality of survival. Methods A humdred and twenty cases of lung cancer patients who were cured from August 2009 to June 2012 were randomly divided into research group and control group,preoperative massage intervention conducted in the research group routine nursing care in the control group. Improvements of perioperative psychological stress reaction were compared. Results After the massage intervention,except for interpersonal relationship factor,other factors scores in the research group compared with the norm had statistical differences. After intervention and into the operating room,the heart rate and systolic blood pressure had statistical difference between the two groups. VAS score in the different periods after operation and postoperative recovery had statistical difference. Conclusions Preoperative massage nursing intervention on the patients can relieve their psychological stress reaction,reduce the complications such as postoperative nausea and vomiting,which are beneficial to the postoperative rehabilitation of patients.
