Studies on Ecology of Epiphytic Moss Species in Jinhua Suburb

The flora and coverage of epiphytic moss in Jinhua suburb were investigated. The relationship of epiphytic moss with their environments were preliminarily analyzed by using the method of DCA based on coverage of epiphytic mosses. The results are as follows: (1) there are about 52 epiphytic moss species belonging to 16 families in Jinhua suburb; their floristic types are mainly East Asian(40.38%), North temperate(25.00%) and cosmopolian(19.23%);(2) The communities of epiphytic moss in the investigated region could be divided into three groups, which were related with conifer forest, Camptotheca acuminata forest and broadleaved forests with dominance of Cinnamomum camphhora, Pterocarya stenoptera, Hovenia dulcis or Quercus acutissima; The distribution of epiphytic moss species is well correlated with forest types. (3) The distributions of epiphytic moss species are influenced by the tree sepceies, some moss species prefer to distriubting on the trunks of broadleaved tree species, others on the trunks of conifer tree species. (4)The inclination of trees had influences on distribution of epiphytic moss species.
